I hope everyone had a great week! I had all intentions of posting this on Friday, but then I came home from school, sat down and fell asleep before I could get anything done. So today I am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for their weekly Five for Friday linkup party.
I wanted to share this awesome wall calendar my mom recently bought for me! It is a 2016 calendar that she had laminated so that I can color the design on it over and over again!
I just love my classroom jobs board and wanted to share it with everyone! I use the job labels created by Seusstastic Classroom Inspirations that you can find here. I will have a post coming soon on how I implement jobs into classroom environment.
We took advantage of the gorgeous weather this week to start going outside for some of our Read to Self time! My students had a great time reading in the sunshine and found some pretty cool spots to read in!
We spent the week studying Perimeter and Area in my classroom, using lots of hands on activities. The students had so much fun learning in different ways. Look out for a two part series on Measurement Units in my classroom featuring 2-D measurement and 3-D Measurement!
We celebrated Earth Day on Friday and my kids had a blast throughout the week learning about the environment. Watch out for a post detailing Earth Day in our room soon! Here we loved using The Husky Loving Teacher's Earth Day Freebie found here.
So there is one last thing I want to add to this post: An invitation to all readers and teachers!
I am currently hosting a Jamberry party to earn credit towards purchasing my own consultant kit because I am planning on entering the world of selling Jamberry products soon! I would love for all of you to join in the fun that a Jamberry Party offers! There will games, prizes and more! If you love the products or have been thinking about trying out the nails wraps then come and join in on the fun. As a teacher, these nail wraps have been a game changer for me. They don't take long to apply, last longer than a salon manicure and let me have nails that my students love complimenting on and then trying to copy them. So if you think you would like to participate in my all online Jamberry Party, check it out here.
